Welcome!

We all need someone who prays for us. Prayer for Church of Norway is established to particularly focus on prayer for the leaders of the biggest church in Norway; The Church of Norway. We pray for all national ledermeetings in The Church of Norway and we send out prayer-requests on e-mail for those who apply for it, and we hope that as many as possible will join us in this prayer and receiving prayer request.

What our leaders decide today will in time give consequences for us in our local church and congregation. It is nearly 80% of the population in Norway, who are members of The Church of Norway. If something happens in this church it will affect all people in Norway, also the free churches within a certain time.

We will support our leader and the church spiritually, in PRAYER.The foundation of our faith is the Bible. It contains a lot of stories on prayer, and a lot of promises that God will hear and answer prayer. One example is Matthew 7, 7-11. The first and most important prayer God answers is the prayer where we open our lives to him, and turn from our own things and our sins. Then he will forgive us and give us strength both for this life, and give us eternal life with him. 

We pray that Gods will will happen in all of our lives and also in The Church of Norway.

We wish a church that follows Jesus Christ boldly.

Since there where elected at new Church Assembly in November 2010 we have picked the same bible verse by Gods "accident" when the Church board have their meetings and when the the Church Assembly where gathered April 2011.

We believe that this is a greeting from God both to the Church Assembly and to all of us;

Jesus says; "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand." (John 10, 27-28 NIV)
